C16 and C24 Timber
Ryder Services are a major supplier of strength graded softwood timber. C16 and C24 are strength grades that are given to structural softwood timber. C16 graded structural timber is the most cost effective option, it is the most widely used timber in the UK. C24 graded premium structural timber is a stronger and more resiliant grade. The C24 has fewer defects or knots than the more popular C16.
LARCH - C24
Siberian Larch comes from the Pinaceae family and it originates from central Europe. Siberian Larch is graded to C24, it is a moderatly durable timber with low shock resistance. The colour of Siberian Larch can vary from yellow to a medium reddish brown.

Douglas fir - c24
Douglas Fir originates from USA and Canada, this is also grown in the UK, New Zealand and Australia. Douglas Fir is graded to C24, the timber is moderatly durable with a medium resistance to shock loads. The heartwood is a light reddish brown shade and it has a uniform medium texture.

whitewood - c16
Whitewood originates from Europe, it's latin name is Picea Abies. The timber grades to C16 and is non durable but it responds well to all preservatives. Whitewood is very versitile and is used in many industries.
